Founded on one simple promise
In 1974, Madam Wong — a former school teacher with a deep passion for early education — opened the doors of Tadika Desa Jaya. Her goal was simple and heartfelt: give the children of Kepong access to an affordable, loving, and genuinely excellent early education.
Word spread quickly. Over the decades, Madam Wong's extensive experience and warmth left a lasting impact on the lives of countless children across Kepong, Selayang, and Sungai Buloh — many of whom are now bringing their own children through our gates.
That founding spirit — affordability without compromising quality, and genuine care for every child — remains the foundation of everything we do today.

Madam Wong opens TDJ's doors in Desa Jaya, Kepong, with a mission to make quality early education accessible to every family.
A trusted neighbourhood name
Through word of mouth, TDJ becomes a beloved fixture for families across Kepong, Selayang, and Sungai Buloh.
Curriculum modernisation begins
TDJ starts integrating Montessori materials and Multiple Intelligences approaches alongside the National Curriculum.
Led by Principal Ms. Lim
With a Master's in Early Childhood Education and 20+ years of experience, Ms. Lim leads a dedicated team offering a cutting-edge, holistic curriculum — including digital literacy and thematic learning.
Still growing, still caring
